Raleigh were one of the few big names in the bike industry in 1985, and very big at Garland's.
Remember this bike, the Vektar.....

..or a few years before the Raleigh Burner...at the explosion of BMX ( Bicycle Moto Cross )...

of course, about that time, 1982 is, Mike Sinyard's Specialized bicycle company launced the 'Stumpjumper'..known as the world first mass production Mountain Bike...

Bikes have changed somewhat over those last 25 years, and todays bikes are better value than ever. We have evolved in the past quarter century,to become hopefully one of the best retailers in our area. In the last 12 years, Specialized have become very much a large part of our business, the company that started mountain biking for the masses, is still owned by the same guy, who just wants to make the best bikes and offer the cyclist the best stuff possible to help them enjoy the passtime we all enjoy...cycling.
